Make your plans now to join us for the annual Aquatic Sports convention in the Anaheim, Calif., area from September 26-30. In addition to the general assembly and committee meetings, plans are in place for an expanded Coach Development Forum, which will feature eight on-site seminars on Thursday and Friday, as well as additional off-site practical sessions on Saturday, followed by a safety training course on Sunday.

Presenters include Jill McNitt Gray, PhD; Doris Miller, PhD; William Sands, PhD; Jeni McNeal, PhD; Ron O'Brien, PhD; John Wingfield; Dick Kimball; Jim Stillson; Julian Krug; Sean McCarthy and Rick Earley. Topics covered include balance control on platform and springboard takeoff, how to structure learning to optimize and retain diving skills, Chinese training program applied to USA Diving selection and talent ID, how to effectively plan your season, Start and Jumpstart, spotting training, and attention to detail in conditioning.
