Miller, Livingston score a pair of top 10 finishes at Canada Cup

MONTREAL - The U.S. scored a pair of top 10 performances on individual events Friday at the Canada Cup, with competition held on women’s 3-meter and men’s 10-meter.

Amanda Miller (Centreville, Va.) scored 289.50 points on 3-meter to finish fifth in her semifinal and ninth overall. It was her first international competition individually on 3-meter, having previously competed 3-meter synchro in three international meets last year.

Drew Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) finished 10th overall (fifth in his semifinal) with 413.90 points on men’s platform. He scored 91.20 points on his back two and a half with two and a half twists.

Michelle Cabassol (Montgomery, Texas) scored 241.80 points to finish 20th on 3-meter a day after taking 12 th in the 10-meter contest.

Cabassol and Kaylea Arnett (Spring, Texas) will compete on synchronized 3-meter Saturday and synchronized 10-meter Sunday.
