2008 World Cup selection camp update  

The CCE has confirmed that there will be only one selection camp to determine the 2008 World Cup team. The camp will be held January 20-24 at a site to be determined.

The World Cup will be held February 20-24 in Beijing and is an important event leading up the Olympic Games. It’s the next opportunity for countries to earn qualifying spots in the Olympics, and the U.S. is looking to earn six more spots to maximize its presence at the Games. The U.S. has already secured six of its possible 12 spots as a result of performances at the 2007 World Championships.
