Changing the Length of a Hurdle


When attempting to change the length of the hurdle, do not change the length of the last step to accomplish this. Divers have a very difficult time changing the last step after having performed it that way for any length of time. Instead, move the starting point of the approach forward or backward the distance the hurdle is to be changed and keep all the steps the same length.
