Biography

Allison is the Daughter of Larry Brennan and Cathy Ferguson, a two-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer in 1964. She has two older sisters, Catie Friedberg and Kellie Stubblefield. Allison began diving in 1996 and trains four hours a day, six days a week, and always mentally pictures her next dive during competitions. Her favorite dives are the reverse 1 ½ somersault, 2 ½ twist, and her favorite diver is Greg Louganis. Her goal is to one day win an Olympic gold.

Allison is currently is an assistant coach at the University of South Carolina and is the chair of USA Diving’s Athlete Representatives Committee. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, playing with her two dogs, Symba and Nala and going to the movies. She enjoys hip-hop, techno and ska music. Her favorite TV shows are Lost, House, One Tree Hill and Friday Night Lights.
