Biography

Erin is the daughter of Julee and Jeff Mertz and has one older sibling, Chris. Erin started diving at age 11 and currently trains 5-7 hours a day, 6 days a week. Her favorite dives are 205B and 107B on 3-meter. She was a five-time NCAA All-American.

When she isn’t diving, Erin enjoys listening to music, singing, dancing, throwing Frisbees, bike riding and being with friends and family. She belongs to the sign language club at Purdue and has been involved with Special Olympics. Erin plans to go attend nursing school and would like to become a neonatal nurse.
