Mary Beth is the daughter of Ned and Marian Dunninchay and has three older siblings: Danielle, Caleb and Jacob. Caleb was a diver at Notre Dame. She started diving in 1999 after being inspired by her brother, and became a U.S. Olympic Team member (synchronized 10-meter) in 2008 — the youngest member of the U.S. delegation (includes all sports). Competing for her high school for the first time as a senior, Mary Beth broke the state record to win the 2011 Indiana state title. And before starting at Purdue, she dove at USA Diving’s National Training Center in Indianapolis for coach John Wingfield. Her favorite dive is 407C on 10-meter.

Mary Beth enjoys shopping, baking, movies, hanging out with friends and watching her brothers play sports. Her favorite TV shows are American Idol, Grey’s Anatomy and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She likes all kinds of music.
