USA Diving events are held year round. We host 40 regional and national events annually and sanction hundreds of events managed by our member clubs. We also assemble and train teams to represent the United States in international events, including the World Championships, Pan American Games, and the Olympic Games.
Our four most popular diving events are:
USA Diving Winter National Championships
Senior divers compete in:
- 1-meter and 3-meter springboard
- 3-meter synchronized springboard
- 10-meter platform
- 10-meter synchronized platform
Qualifications for this event are based on overall performance in previous competitions or by qualifying through the preliminaries.
AT&T National Diving Championships
Divers in this premiere senior national circuit event compete in:
- 1-meter and 3-meter springboard
- 3-meter synchronized springboard
- 10-meter platform
- 10-meter synchronized platform
Qualifications for this event are based on overall performance in previous competitions and placement in U.S. National Preliminary Meets. Approximately 125 divers typically qualify.
AT&T USA Diving Grand Prix
The only U.S. stop on FINA’s international Grand Prix circuit, divers in the event compete in:
- 3-meter springboard
- 3-meter synchronized springboard
- 10-meter platform
- 10-meter synchronized platform
USA Diving International Team Selectors choose team members for this event according to selection procedures.
USA Diving Junior and Age Group National Diving Championships
Divers in this premiere junior national circuit event compete in:
- 1-meter and 3-meter springboard
- 3-meter synchronized springboard
- Synchronized platform
- 5-meter, 7.5 meter, or 10 meter platform in the following ages groups:
- 11 and under
- 12-13
- 14-15
- 16-18
Qualifications for this event are based on placement at the Summer Junior Zone Championships or by prequalifying according to performance in other competitions. Approximately 500 divers typically qualify.
