VIEW THE RESULTS:
America’s best divers will be competing for national titles in the 1-meter springboard, 3 meter springboard, 10-meter platform, synchronized 3-meter springboard and synchronized 10-meter platform events. Divers may prequalify to participate in the quarterfinal rounds of the individual events of the Winter Nationals based on performances at previous competitions. Additional divers may participate in the preliminary rounds (Dec. 15-16) and attempt to qualify through to the quarterfinal rounds. Results from these Winter Nationals will be used as the selection trials to choose the divers that will represent the United States at the 18th FINA Diving World Cup (February 20-26 in London).

Approximately 125 of the best divers in the United States will be competing to earn spots to the 2012 Olympic Trials – Diving, as well as a chance to represent the United States at the 2012 FINA World Cup in February. Eight members of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Diving Team are expected to compete, including 3-time Olympian Troy Dumais (Ventura, CA), 2011 World Championship silver medalist David Boudia (Noblesville, IN), Thomas Finchum (Indianapolis, IN), Mary Beth Dunnichay (Elwood, IN), Haley Ishimatsu (Seal Beach, CA), Kelci Bryant (Chatham, IL), Christina Loukas (Riverwoods, IL), and Chris Colwill (Brandon, FL). Several divers with Knoxville ties are also expected to compete.

Permits may be purchased at the Aquatic Center lobby. Parking will be in the G7 garage across the street from the pool and the N lots as shown in section 6 of the attached link to the parking services map. UTK.edu/Maps/Campus/. There is also street parking in the meters on Volunteer Blvd. If it becomes possible to purchase parking in advance that information will be made available through USA Diving.

From Knoxville McGhee Tyson Airport:
Take airport exit to US 129 N/Alcoa Hwy. Stay on 129N approximately 9.5 miles. Exit on Neyland Drive. Follow exit around and turn left onto Neyland Drive. From Neyland take first light left onto Joe Johnson Drive which is the Ag campus. Stay on Joe Johnson Drive until you cross Volunteer Blvd where you will see the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the right.
