How do I become a member (athlete, non-athlete or coach) of USA Diving?

Registration is available online in the Join USA Diving section. Memberships are paid with a credit card, and membership cards may be printed from your home computer.

Can I purchase a membership from USA Diving over the phone?

No. All memberships must be purchased online with a credit card.

What membership type is right for me?

USA Diving offers a number of membership types for coaches, divers, officials and fans. A summary of each membership type is included within the Join USA Diving pages to assist in determining which membership type and level is best for you.

How do I check my membership status and certification expiration?

You can log in to your membership account through our website to check your membership and certification status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once you’re logged in, your certifications and their expiration dates will be on the opening page.

Can I renew multiple club members at one time?

You no longer need the individual usernames and passwords for your divers to renew their memberships.  If you are the club administrator, just log in to your membership account and click on the Club Admin Help Guide, which will provide step-by-step instructions on how to renew your divers and pay one time for multiple divers. It will also tell you how to add new divers to your club.

How do I access the Members’ Only page?

To access the Members’ Only page, go here, and log in to your USA Diving membership account using your username and password. Once logged in, the option to access the Members’ Only page will appear on the left side of the screen.

How do I find a club in me area?

Please visit the Find a USA Diving Club resource and choose your state in the drop-down menu. All currently registered USA Diving clubs will be shown on the screen.

If there are no clubs that are close enough for you, you may wish to contact the closest one listed, and ask if they know of other programs in your area.

What are the requirements to become a coach?

The coach is required to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications on their own and complete the USA Diving Safety certification for Diving Coaches certification course, which consists of an online exam and an in-water skills demonstration done with one of USA Diving’s certified instructors.
