GC Divers – Assistant Age Group Coach (Posted 11/6/14)

The GC Divers team is looking for a motivated individual to work with our age group divers.  Candidates need to be able to work with all levels of team divers from young novice divers to age group qualifiers. The focus of this individual will be to develop young athletes to the national level.  Training time is after school during the school year and Saturdays. Summer schedule involves opportunities for additional training hours and learn to dive programs.

Facility features: Keller pool: three 1-meter and two 3-meter springboards, dry board and trampoline. Southlake pool: two 3-meter and two 1-meter boards, trampoline.

Qualifications:  Good with young divers, positive attitude and coaching style, enthusiastic and excited to expand their coaching skills and experience. Must be professional and represent our club accordingly.

Candidates must be a registered coach with USA Diving and subject to a background check.

Moss Farms Diving Tigers – Head Coach Position (posted 11/3/14)

The Moss Farm’s Diving Team seeks an experienced coach with background in high-level competition for the position of Head Coach. Candidates must possess skills necessary to work with all age groups and skill levels, including novice and JO caliber divers.

Candidate will manage workouts and training plans for all levels of diving. Other duties include leading dryland workouts, dryland/wet belt spotting, evaluation of performance utilizing video analysis, and setting and maintaining individual goals and monitoring progression of each diver.

Candidate must maintain JO team standards and travel is required to regionals, zones and national meets.

Facility features: 
1, 3, 5, 7.5 and 10m platforms
, four 3m and four 1m Springboards, 
Bubbler System, out door heated pool and TiVo. State of the art Dryland Center with diving pit. Moss Farms Aquatic Center is one of five Regional Dryland Center named by USA Diving.

Qualifications: 
Background and experience coaching novice level through JO level divers
. Strong organizational, teaching and communication skills. 
Ability to act professionally at all times

Licenses/Certifications: 
Current USA Diving Full Coach Membership
. CPR/First Aid; Safety Training for Coaches.

Mile High Dive Club — Coach (Posted 10/23/14)

The Mile High Dive Club seeks an experienced coach with professional demeanor. Background in both dryland training and pool training required.  Candidates will be well versed working with all skill levels, ages, and learning styles.

Candidate works with the owner and club director to run effective skill based workouts for all multiple levels of diving.  Additional skills including but not limited to handspotting, belt spotting, water belt spotting, video analysis, platform training, and overall ability to manage children while keeping the mission statement of the club front of mind.

Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation – Diving Coach (Posted 10/22/14)

Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking qualified proposals for a USA Diving Coach at North County Aquatic Complex, a 50 meter facility located Jupiter, Florida.

Background: The Facility is located at 861 Toney Penna Drive, Jupiter, Florida. The Facility opened on December 18, 1992 and is a 50 meter X 25 yard X 25 meter pool with a dive well separated from the main pool by a bulkhead. The pool water is heated and chilled with Geo thermal heat pumps and is open to the public year round. The Facility is equipped with a Daktronics Omni Sport Console and 8 line scoreboard, as well as a dry pit dive training apparatus.

The Facility has had a competitive USA Diving program since 1994. Currently, approximately 40 participants are enrolled in the program. The successful proposer will be an independent contractor with the County. The payment to the contractor will be based on 80% of the fees collected for the program with no benefits offered. Based on the current program, it is estimated that the total payments for the first year will be between $40,000 and $45,000. The County provides the Facility and the coach works directly with the Pool Manager to schedule usage, insure that fees are paid and to resolve issues that may arise. There is an active Parent’s Organization that the coaches is expected to work closely with to raise funds, run meets and handle other items that benefit the program. The coach is responsible for running the program within the scope of work outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
