University of Massachusetts Dartmouth – Part-time/Seasonal Diving Coach (posted 7/9/14)

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is seeking a part-time/seasonal diving coach.  The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is located one hour south of Boston, 30 minutes east of Providence, Rhode Island and 40 minutes west of Cape Cod.  It is a Division III member of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic and Little East Conferences.

The position is a salaried position.

Responsibilities: Practice preparation, diving instruction and recruitment.  This is a part-time/seasonal position.   Opportunities available to run summer/ winter diving camps and to start a diving lesson program.

Qualifications: Experience as a competitive diver or coaching experience at a high school, club or college level is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Marlins Diving Club – Diving Coach (Posted 6/30/14)

The Marlins Diving Club in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced diving coach to join our coaching team. Candidates will be expected to work with all ages and levels of divers, help coordinate practices, travel to meets, and help with day-to-day operations.

Applicants must have 2-3 years coaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree with a collegiate diving background. Belt experience is a plus. Pay will be based on experience.

Grinnell College – Part-time/Seasonal Diving Coach (Posted 6/23/14)

Grinnell College is currently seeking a part-time/seasonal diving coach.  Founded in 1846, Grinnell College is a private, coed, residential liberal arts and sciences college located in Grinnell, Iowa (60 miles east of Des Moines).  A Division III member of the NCAA and competes in the Midwest Conference.  Completed in 2010, Grinnell’s athletic facilities are one of the top in the country for Division III schools.

IUPUI – Diving Coach (Posted 5/15/14)

IUPUI seeks highly qualified applicants to fill its full-time Diving Coach position.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Serve as recruiting coordinator and work with compliance to set official visits in compliance with NCAA requirements.

Develop practice plans and strategies as well as participation in the development and execution of meet strategies.

Responsible for all administrative requirements including: travel arrangements and itineraries; equipment and uniform purchases; in conjunction with the head coach develop plans to successfully engage in fund raising, promotional and community service activities.

Develop and coordinate camps with IUPUI Natatorium and local dive clubs.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, plus one year of collegiate coaching, playing, or graduate assistant experience, preferably at the Division I level.

Santa Clara Diving Club – Assistant Coach (Posted 5/14/14)

Santa Clara Diving Club, located in Silicon Valley, California, is accepting applications for an experienced Assistant Coach to become part of our dedicated coaching team.

Our new assistant will coach at all levels of the program from lessons to high school to developmental and Junior Olympic Team, as needed.  In addition to coaching, primary responsibilities will include belt-spotting (can teach, if not currently proficient), video recording practices, and supervising assigned dry land conditioning/strength/flexibility warm-up regimens.  Additional duties will be assigned by the Head Coach and will include equipment set up, inventory, maintenance, and safety-checking, as well as home meet management support.  This is a full-time position with benefits.

Our pool is outdoors and includes a separate well with three 1 meter and two 3 meter springboards and a 10 meter platform.  We also have an indoor driving training center equipped with two trampolines, two dry boards, overhead spotting rigs, TiVo video feedback systems and tumbling mats.

Santa Clara Diving Club is rapidly growing and we are looking forward to having a brand-new world class facility in the not-too-distant future.  Compensation for this position is competitive.   Applicants are required to be USA diving safety certified and have current CPR and first aid certifications and a minimum of 3 to 5 years coaching experience

University of Wisconsin at Whitewater College Diving Coach – Part-time/Seasonal or Graduate Assistant (Posted 5/14/14)

UW-Whitewater is seeking a part-time/seasonal diving coach.  Whitewater is located near the Illinois border an hour west of Milwaukee and about 45 minutes east of Madison.  UW-W is a Division III member of WIAC.

The position can either be salaried or converted to a Graduate Assistant position.
