Becoming a Coach

You can become a USA Diving coach by following the steps below. Follow the links and instructions provided in each step.

  • Step One: Register to become a member.
  • Step Two: Study materials and required text.
  • Step Three: Complete the USA Diving safety and risk management online exam and register for a pool skills session.
  • Step Four: Complete the pool skills session (or equivalent course)
  • Step Five: Get first aid and CPR certification.
  • Step Six: Complete your membership.
