More Medals Awarded on Saturday at USA Diving Junior National Championships

Nine divers earned additional medals during today’s competition at the 2026 USA Diving Junior National Championships in Morgantown. 

 

Pengxu Lor (Minnesota Diving Academy) won his third individual medal of the meet with a gold in the 14-15 Boys 3-meter event. Lor’s 454.50 just narrowly beat the 454.10 score of silver medalist Nathan Piotrowski (West Florida Lightning Aquatics). This was the second medal for Piotrowski after he also won silver in the 14-15 Boys platform event. Nathanel Salomon (Knight Diving Academy) finished in the bronze spot with 404.95.  

 

It was also another medal for 16-18 Girls 1-meter winner, Ava Jolley (Carolina Diving Academy). In a tight competition, Jolley finished with 369.90. Behind her was Ashley Mouyenga (Podium Diving Training Center) with 367.65 and Ginna Kenrick (Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive) with 366.95. 

 

Twin sisters Ella and Emma Guo (Arrow Dive Club) won gold and silver, respectively, in the 14-15 Girls platform event. Ella, who also won the 14-15 Girls 3-meter, finished with a score of 352.35, and Emma with 319.55. Emma Wang (Trojan Dive Club) rounded out the podium with 316.40. 

 

In the 12-13 Boys 3-meter event, Charles Torrione (Duke Diving) added gold to his 1-meter silver after scoring 341.00. Torrione shared the top of the podium with international athlete Ivan Kliminov (Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive). Finishing second was Hampton Pigford (Atlanta Diving Association) with 316.75, and in third was Max Liu (Stanford Diving) with 305.85. 

 

Winning gold on the 12-13 Girls platform was London Smith (Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive) with a score of 301.30. Raine Rutter’s (Stanford Diving) 278.70 earned her silver, and Ashley Huang’s (Minnesota Diving Academy) 265.40 earned her the bronze.  

 

Milan Xing (Arrow Dive Club) continued her dominant performance in the 11 & Under Girls group with a gold medal-winning 245.45 in today’s 1-meter event. Her Arrow Dive Club teammate Abbygail Rose Ayroso joined her on the podium in the silver position with 205.70. Abigail Whelchel (NC Diving Club) finished third with 194.10.
