ESPN+ to Air Individual Finals of 2026 USA Diving National Championships

The nation's best divers are headed to Morgantown, West Virginia, for the 2026 USA Diving National Championships, where national titles and spots on the USA Diving National Team will all be on the line. The meet will be taking place Aug. 7 – Aug. 11, and all individual finals will be aired live on ESPN+. 

The championships will feature many of the country's top athletes, including Olympians, World Championships medalists, national team members and rising stars who have made their mark both domestically and internationally this season. 

Men’s 1-meter 
Jack Ryan is a two-time national champion on 1-meter, with his most recent victory coming at the 2024 USA Diving National Championships. Bennett Greene, the 2025 USA Diving Winter National Championships gold medalist on 1-meter, is another to watch for. Andrew Bell and Nathaniel Grannis joined Greene in the 1-meter finals at last year's Winter Nationals and will aim for another spot in the finals in 2026, as will Holden Higbie, a finalist at the 2025 nationals. 

Women’s 1-meter 
Anna Kwong is back as she looks to defend the 1-meter title she won at the 2025 USA Diving National Championships. Keep an eye on Margo O’Meara, who won the 1-meter title at the 2025 USA Diving Winter National Championships and claimed gold at international events in Madrid and Bolzano this summer. Sophie Verzyl could also make things difficult for the rest of the field, with her planned degree of difficulty being the highest in the contest. Also watch for up-and-comer Ava Jolley, who just won the 16-18 junior national title and will get another 1-meter competition under her belt before she represents the United States at the World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships in Croatia later this month.  

 
Men's 3-meter 
The U.S. found itself on the podium for men’s 3-meter quite often in 2026 international events, and it wasn’t always the same diver. Five different U.S. men won a medal in World Aquatics recognized events this spring and summer. Who will end up atop the podium at the 2026 USA Diving National Championships? Luke Sitz won two medals – one silver and one gold – on the international stage, while Bennett Greene and Collier Dyer each picked up a silver. And Quinn Henninger and Carson Tyler both earned a bronze medal. And don’t count out Jack Ryan, who qualified for the World Aquatics World Cup Super Final on 3-meter. Of that group of six, only Henninger and Ryan have won a national title on 3-meter.  

Women's 3-meter 
Sophie Verzyl won the 3-meter title at both the 2025 USA Diving National Championships and Winter National Championships and has been off to a strong start in 2026, winning an NCAA title and three medals on the international stage. Margo O’Meara and Kyndal Knight have also notched top-six finishes internationally this year after placing second and third at the 2025 winter nationals. Lily Witte and Anna Kwong finished second and third at the 2025 national championships and will look to contend for a title as well. Also watch for rising stars Ella Guo, who just won the 14-15 junior national title, and Kayla Jensen and Ava Jolley, who will all compete in a 3-meter individual or synchronized event for the U.S. at the World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships in Croatia. 

Men's 10-meter 
Josh Hedberg will be looking for his fourth individual 10-meter title on 10-meter after winning his third when he took gold at the 2025 USA Diving National Championships. Also keep an eye on his synchro partner, Carson Tyler, who finished first at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials but has yet to win an individual national title. Each of them won gold individually in international competition earlier this year. Max Weinrich and Tyler Wills, who finished third and fourth respectively at the 2025 USA Diving National Championships, will be looking to move up in the standings. And watch for Leyton Dean, who is set to compete for the U.S. on platform at the upcoming World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships in Croatia.  

Women's 10-meter 
Bayleigh Cranford heads into Morgantown after a successful showing on the international state year, having won four medals in four World Aquatics recognized events this spring and summer. Ella Roselli and Sophie McAfee have also finished in the top five on the international stage this year. And the future looks bright for the U.S. In women’s platform. After competing 10-meter in Morgantown, Callie Fox, Lindyn Johnson, Sophia Narbut and Evelyn Wang will all represent the United States in either an individual or synchronized platform event at the World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships in Croatia later this month.  

Men's synchronized 3-meter 
Quinn Henninger and Jack Ryan perform one of the most difficult 3-meter synchro lists in the world, and it's paying off in their results. The duo has a pair of gold medals in 2026 World Aquatics recognized events and have won two winter national titles together.  

Women's synchronized 3-meter 
It doesn’t get any closer than it did at the 2025 USA Diving National Championships, when Sophie Verzyl and Anna Kwong tied with Bailee Sturgill and Lily Witte to be crowned co-champions in 3-meter last year. Will we see another tie in 2026? Verzyl and Kwong went on to win the title at the 2025 USA Diving Winter National Championships, with Sturgill and Witte taking second. Also watch for Kyndal Knight and Krysta Palmer, who won gold at a World Aquatics -ecognized meet in Madrid this summer. Verzyl plans to compete with two partners, Kwong and Kristen Hayden, who is returning to competition for the first time since the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. 

 
Men's synchronized 10-meter 
Josh Hedberg and Carson Tyler aren’t just among the best in the United States. They’re among the best in the world. The pair won bronze at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships for USA’s first medal in that event at a World Championships since 2009. They’ll be looking for their fourth national title together.  

Women's synchronized 10-meter 
Bayleigh Cranford and Ella Roselli have made a name for themselves this year. After pairing up for the first time to win the 10-meter synchro title at the 2025 USA Diving Winter National Championships, they’ve gone on to compete together in four international events and came away with medals in two of them.   

Fans who can't make it to Morgantown can still experience the excitement of the championships from anywhere. ESPN+ will stream the finals of the men's and women's 1-meter, 3-meter and platform competitions.
