Daryn Wright

Daryn is the daughter of Todd (Pilot) and Christie Wright...She has two older siblings, Andie and Derek...She began diving at age nine...Has committed to dive at Purdue University and plans to study genetics...Trains four to five hours a day, six days a week...Favorite dive is 305C on 3-meter...Enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, being outside, watching movies, and being with her family...In 2018 she dislocated six ribs and bruised her sternum after a bad entry off 10-meter...Daryn competed in her first junior nationals in 2014 and her first senior nationals in 2016...She would describe herself as fun, honest and hardworking...Her favorite t.v. show is Survivor...Is a straight A student and a member of National Honor Society

• 2019 Junior Pan American Championships (silver medalist, synchronized platform; 4th, platform)
• 2021 Junior Pan American Championships (gold medalist, 1-meter and platform; silver medalist, 3-meter)
• 2021 Junior Pan American Games team member (4th, 1-meter and 10-meter)
• 2021 winter national champion on 10-meter
• Two-time junior national champion on platform (2021, 2019); also has a junior national title in synchro platform (2019)
