Duo’s Deliver on Day Six of Competition in Mission Viejo

Thursday’s events at the 2025 USA Diving Junior National Championships brought high-energy synchronized diving to Mission Viejo, as some of the nation’s top junior pairs competed for spots on the podium in the 3-meter and platform finals. 

In the girls’ 3-meter synchronized final (ages 14-18), sisters Ella and Emma Guo (Arrow Dive Club) took the top spot with 266.31 points. Just behind them were Sophia Hoffman (Knight Diving Academy) and Alden Charette (Marlins Diving Club), who earned silver with 263.88. Rounding out the podium were Zoe Quigley and Callie Fox (Mission Viejo Nadadores), finishing third at 230.43. 

The boys’ platform synchronized event featured a strong showing from RipFest’s duo Noah Horwitz and Leyton Dean, who secured gold with 298.80 points. The team of Jackson Monus (ACES) and Rydan Russell (Coral Springs Diving) followed with silver at 256.14, while Thibault Lede (Dominion Dive Club) and Luke Rawlings (New River Diving) claimed bronze with 241.11. 

Individual events will continue in Mission Viejo as the final days of competition approach.
