Los Angeles Dive Club - Head Club Coach Position-part time

Los Angeles Dive Club is seeking an individual to oversee Junior Olympic and Futures Development groups with the goal of building collegiately prepared athletes.  Requires the writing of a daily training program, teaching physical and mental preparation, along with short and long term goal setting.

LA Dive Club is a small USA/AAU diving program located on the westside of Los Angeles.  Primary training site is at the University of California, Los Angeles (Westwood area).  Dryland equipment includes two trampolines (one spotting rig); two dryboards (one spotting rig); 42 foot rod floor; and multiple take off stations.  Main pool is Spieker Aquatics Center (2x1M and 3M springboards with new fulcrums; 1.5M/3M/5M/7.5M/10M Platforms) Team is composed of approximately 25 JO/Futures Diving athletes, along with a small lesson group.  Working hours are Sundays 9-1130AM and Mon-Thur evenings 5-730PM.  There is some opportunity for private lessons/training.  Expectation to attend meets monthly, December-July.

Salary range is $30,000-$40,000 (bi-weekly pay periods).  Paid vacations are two weeks of shutdown at Christmas/New Year; and 2-3 weeks immediately following Junior Nationals in August.  Benefits are available thru CoveredCalifornia (you will activate).  There is opportunity to work with the UCLA Diving College program throughout the year, based on availability.

Colorado State University - Diving Coach
Colorado State University Women’s Swim&Dive is seeking a full-time salaried Diving Coach responsible for direction of a NCAA Division I program, including training and competition instruction and organization; season planning and roster management; NCAA compliance and additional office responsibilities; monitoring academic progress; effective communication with all departmental employees and community supporters; and support of student-athlete well-being.

Applicants must meet the minimum job requirements of at least one year of NCAA coaching and recruiting experience (preferably at the DI level); knowledge of NCAA by-laws; excellent communication skills; proficiency in designing and implementing a effective teaching and training techniques; a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel and work select evenings, weekends and holidays; and the ability to use video, recruiting, compliance and communication platforms and technology.
