New Champions Crowned on Day Three of USA Diving Junior Nationals

The 2025 USA Diving Junior National Championships continued Sunday in Mission Viejo, with another packed day of finals and multiple divers adding to their medal hauls.
Brody Johnson (City of Midland) picked up his third gold medal of the week Sunday, winning the boys’ 11 & under 1-meter event with 230.00 points. He also claimed both the 11 & under boys’ 3-meter and platform titles. Myles Huang (New York Dive Club) earned silver with 208.75, and Frank Li (Trojan Dive Club) took bronze with 200.25.
In the boys’ 12-13 3-meter event, Russian Ivan Kliminov (Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive) posted 373.95 points for first place and Noah Lieberman (Montgomery Dive Club) took the title with 340.65. Arthur Palladino (Long Island Divers) earned silver with 330.25, and Owen Stebbins (Los Angeles Dive Club) placed third with 323.30.
The 12-13 girls’ platform saw ElliReese Niday (Unattached) capture her second title of the week with 302.85 points after her exceptional first-place performance on 1-meter earlier in the meet. Raine Rutter (Stanford Diving Club) took silver at 270.20 while Sawyer Watts (Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive) rounded out the podium with 237.95.
Competition continues Monday in Mission Viejo as junior divers across multiple divisions look to earn their own national titles.
