Lauren is the daughter of Alexander and Missy Burch...Her dad was a diver in high school...She has three siblings, Alyssa, Julia and Tyler...Lauren enjoys chess, musical theater, singing, cooking, escape rooms, reading...Started diving at age 10...Her favorite dive is a 107C on 10-meter, and her favorite diver is Laura Wilkinson (she's known her for years and has babysat her kids)...Switched from a left-legged hurdle to a right-legged hurdle for 2021, and she also started training more on tower to prepare for college ...Likes to listen to a variety of music, ranging from Queen to Hamilton, when she is competing (her favorite song is Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy by Queen)...Bohemian Rhapsody is her favorite movie, and if she could meet anyone, it would be Freddie Mercury...Says she has a very unique style with colorful clothing and jewelry and loves to show off her style no matter where she goes...Favorite meal is chicken and waffles from Black Walnut in The Woodlands...She would like to become a cardiothoracic surgeon...Is involved with the Athletes in Medicine club at Stanford...Enjoys playing chess with her family, especially after watching The Queen's Gambit
