Son of Marla Dorman, a lab technician, and Paul Dorman, a P.E. teacher...Has an older brother, Ben...Began diving at the age of eight...Favorite dive is 109C (front 4 1/2 somersault, tuck), although he broke his hand the first time he did the dive...In between dives during competition, Sam likes to play blackjack or Angry Birds and listen to music (depending on his mood, either slower music or Reggaeton)...His favorite divers are Joona Puhakka and Patrick Hausding...When he's not diving, Sam enjoys spending time with his dog (Hank), fishing and going to the beach...He doesn't like to watch other sports...Graduated from Miami with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2015
