Son of Theresa and Donnie Downs...Tyler is the youngest of seven children...Started diving at age five and moved away from his family at age 14 in order to train in Indianapolis with coach John WIngfield...His favorite dive in 5154B on 3-meter... He likes to stay relaxed and listen to music during competitions....He particularly likes to listen to Nicki Minaj (his favorite song by her is 'What That Speed Bout')...The morning of competition, Tyler usually eats scrambled eggs, bacon, a waffle and some juice...Outside of competition, Tyler's favorite meal is anything at Chick-fil-A...Tyler's favorite diver is David Boudia...He would describe himself as funny,hard-working and empathetic...His favorite TV show is Scandal...If Tyler could meet anyone it would be Nicki Minaj
