USA Diving Events Updates

Dear USA Diving Members,

With a second COVID wave becoming a reality, we are reaching out to assure you that we are continuing to monitor the progress of this global pandemic. and assess the current landscape. Our leadership team has been meeting regularly to discuss the most up-to-date information and the associated effects on the safety of our community and ability to return to the pool and ultimately, competition.

With the recognition that many of our clubs have limited or no access to facilities, we are exploring measures for our return to competition and ensuring a safe and level playing field throughout the country. We would love to give our community a concrete answer on when or if competitions will resume in 2020.   However, as this pandemic evolves, we must remain flexible in order to do what is best for the safety and well-being of our membership.

We understand that the current situation is extremely difficult and complex. Our priority is to promote safety above all else. We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation and will update everyone with regard to our decisions and recommendations.

In the coming days, we will be seeking additional input from our membership as we look towards returning to the pool and competition. We will be sending a survey and ask you to please help us by giving your thoughts.
