Synchronized Success Marks Day Six of USA Diving Junior Nationals

The 2025 USA Diving Junior National Championships continued Wednesday in Mission Viejo with a full slate of synchronized finals, showcasing precision, teamwork and standout performances from some of the country’s top young diving duos. 


In the girls’ synchronized 14–18 platform final, Sophia Narbut (Stanford Diving) and Callie Fox (Mission Viejo Nadadores) topped the podium with a combined score of 260.76. Right behind them were Gianna Kenrick (Mission Viejo Nadadores) and Juliet Radich (Coral Springs Diving), who secured silver with 243.24. The Coral Springs pair of Ariel Hall and Ava Sedlacek earned bronze with 217.98. 


An international pair, Evelyn Wang (McCormick Divers) and Jiaqi Lu (Trojan Dive Club), also competed in the event as an exhibition entry, scoring 271.86. 

Nathaniel Grannis and Ivor Brown (Dominion Dive Club) delivered a strong performance in the boys’ synchronized 14–18 3-meter event, winning gold with 299.82. Evan Kerim (Woodlands Diving) and Cristiano Garcia (Montgomery Dive Club) took second place with 280.59, and Matthew Wong and Alex Wodehouse (Knight Diving Academy) earned third with 251.94. 


As the week progresses, more events await, with young athletes continuing to chase national titles and personal bests in Mission Viejo.
