Son of Mary and Doug Gelbach...Youngest of five (Patrick, Max, Aidan, Margoux)...Finnian began diving at age 7 in 2012...He also plays lacrosse and basketball...He is a boy scout...Gelbach's grandfather was a successful diver back in the 1940s...His favorite dive is the inward 2 1/2 tuck on 3-meter...He states that the hardest thing about training is "having to stop at the end of practice"...His pre-competition meal usually consists of eggs, fruit and protein bars...Favorite diver is Ryan Hawkins
