Jack is the son of Bob Nyquist, Kristen Hall and Jim Hall. He also has three siblings Eric, Katie, Kevin as well as two step-siblings, Caroline and Connor. Eric played baseball at Mercer University. Jack began diving at age 9 and throughout his career has had three wrist surgeries. Between dives at competitions, he likes to talk with friends and listens classic rock or rap music. Jack's favorite dive is a 5154B, and his favorite diver is Jack Laugher of Great Britain. When Jack is not training, he enjoys playing basketball, volunteering and travelling. He is also involved in the Carolina Leadership Academy.
