Biography:
Mary Beth is the daughter of Ned and Marian Dunnichay and has three older siblings: Danielle, Caleb and Jacob. She started diving in 1999 after being inspired by Caleb, who was also a diver.

Mary Beth became a U.S. Olympic Team member (synchronized 10-meter) in 2008. She was the youngest member of the U.S. delegation in all sports.

Mary Beth has been hampered by shoulder problems throughout her career, having undergone three surgeries on her right shoulder. Until returning to the national team in the spring of 2015, she had not competed internationally since the 2011 World Championships. Mary Beth said the hardest part about returning to competition was dealing with the nerves and learning how to compete again. She trains approximately fours hours a day, and her favorite dive is 5253B on 10-meter.

Mary Beth enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends and family.
