Delaney Schnell and Katrina Young will compete in the preliminary round of the Women’s 10-Meter Platform competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Schnell and Young will dive 9^th and 25^th respectively in the field of 30 competitors.

Schnell competed earlier in the competition, earning Team USA’s first Olympic medal ever in the Women’s Synchronized 10-Meter Platform with Jessica Parratto. Young competed in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, having placed 13^th. Both Schnell and Young qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games at the 2020 Olympic Team Trials- Diving placing first and second respectively in a heavily talented field.

Tomorrow’s competition will take place at 3pm Japan Time/2am EST and will be broadcast live on the USA Network as well as streamed on NBCOlympics.com
