USA Diving announced today that Olivia Rosendahl has joined the organization as Operations Coordinator. Rosendahl, who will begin her new role on December 1, 2021, previously served the organization as Athlete Advisory Committee Representative for USA Diving.

A graduate of Northwestern University and a recently retired Senior National Team diver, Rosendahl has worked with both USA Diving and the USOPC in her previous role; her greatest successes include the expansion of the 10-Year Athlete List to increase athlete participation in governance, the development of a High Dive Committee, and assisting in the production of the 2021 Junior Pan American Championships. Because of this role, she has gained unique experience that will successfully allow her to make an immediate impact on the operational capabilities for USA Diving.

In order to accept the position within the organization, Rosendahl will be stepping down as both AAC and Athlete representative to our board to take this position. This will meanwe will be electing three new athlete representatives in the upcoming election.

I am thrilled to report that Olivia Rosendahl has accepted our offer to join the USA Diving staff,” said President of USA Diving, Lee Michaud, “As we all know, she leaves large shoes to fill.  That is why I am equally thrilled to report that Lauren Reedy will remain as athlete representative to our board and move into the AAC representative role. We are lucky to have so many capable members of our community.”

Rosendahl has been a part of the diving community since age six and has represented USA Diving internationally on several occasions. Her years spent on the USA Diving Senior National Team and within the grassroots of the community give her a unique and recent perspective within the organization and contribute to her athlete-first understanding of USA Diving. She is passionate about accessibility and the impact that sport can have on individual and community development.
