Girls' 14-18 synchronized platform medalists at the 2024 USA Diving Junior National Championships
Lemkin/Bishop, Sollenberger/Sitz Win Junior National Titles In Synchro Events
Morgantown, West Virginia - Anna Lemkin of Mission Viejo Nadadores and Kaylee Bishop of Coral Springs Diving won the gold medal in the girls’ Group A/B (14-18 years) synchronized platform event with 264.96 points Saturday at the USA Diving Junior National Championships. Lemkin repeated as Group A/B Champion after earning gold in the 2023 Junior National Championship.
Mission Viejo also earned silver with the team of Taylor Fox and Avery Giese, who scored a total of 233.76 points. Bronze medals were earned by Gianna Kenrick of Mission Viejo and Juliet Radich of Coral Springs Diving with a score of 211.47 points.
In the boys’ Group A/B (14-18 years) synchronized 3-meter contest, Josh Sollenberger of Indiana International School of Diving and Luke Sitz of Dallas Metroplex Diving earned the gold medal with a score of 299.34. They were closely followed by Bo Bridges of Moss Farms Diving and Aiden Sadler of Georgia Diving Club with a score of 285.30. Ripfest Divers Nathan Cox and Ethan Swart took the bronze medal with a score of 260.94.
Competition at the USA Diving Junior National Championships continues through August 7. Sunday’s competition features four individual preliminaries along with 14-18 boys’ synchronized platform and 14-18 girls’ synchronized 3-meter finals.
