City of Fort Lauderdale diving platform earns AIA Honor Award

Congratulations to our friends in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for earning the American Institute of Architects (AIA) “Honor Award” for their 27-meter dive tower. The tower will only be available for diving to qualified divers, but tours will be available to the public near the end of the year.

USA Diving is excited to collaborate with the team in Fort Lauderdale as they return the iconic facility to the forefront of the aquatic world.   The dive tower is the tallestin the Western Hemisphere and is the first in the world to incorporate diving and high diving for competition in one concrete structure.  Future diving and high diving events at the location will be destination events for years to come.
