Black History Month Spotlight

USA Diving is featuring divers and coaches of color during the month of February for Black History Month. Coaches recognized include DiveRVA coach Diane Maiese, University of South Carolina head diving coach Mike Wright and University of Texas Graduate assistant Manny Pollard. Divers who are being featured are FINA World Cup medalist Nike Agunbiade, national champion Kristen Hayden and former Ivy League champion Daniel Dickerson. These are simply a handful of divers and coaches of color in our sport. The Howard men’s and women’s swimming and diving program is making history in aquatics as the only All-Black college swimming and diving team in the country. We honor our athletes and coaches of color this month and always.
