Final Titles Claimed on Day Ten of USA Diving Junior Nationals

The final day of competition at the 2025 USA Diving Junior National Championships wrapped up thrillingly on Sunday, with incredible performances in the 3-meter and platform finals bringing the weeklong meet in Mission Viejo to a close.
In the girls’ 14-15 3-meter final, Sophia Hoffman (Knight Diving Academy) closed out her impressive week with another national title, scoring 381.10 to take gold. Hannah McLaughlin (Woodlands Diving) followed closely for silver with 376.60, while Evelyn Wang (McCormick Divers) earned bronze with 362.30.
Over in the 16–18 girls’ 3-meter event, hometown diver Gianna Kenrick (Mission Viejo Nadadores) delivered a standout performance, winning gold with a clean 400.00. Olivia Astrologes (RipFest) took second with 397.50, and Amelia Rinehart (Indiana International School of Diving) placed third at 390.35 in one of the closest events of the day.
On the boys’ side, Cristiano Garcia (Montgomery Dive Club) ended his meet with another national title, winning the 14–15 platform final with 425.60 points, his third consecutive gold in this event after also taking the title in 2023 and 2024. Beck Gregory (Moss Farms Diving) secured silver at 380.60, and Nathan Piotrowski (West Florida Lightning Aquatics) followed with 377.65 to complete his third podium finish of the week.
The boys’ 16–18 platform final capped off competition in dramatic fashion, with Jacob Mannarino (Orlando Dive Academy) narrowly edging out Grant Cates (RipFest) for gold. Mannarino scored 543.70 to Cates’ 543.35, a difference of just 0.35 points. Stanford Diving’s Gunnar Grubbs finished third with 499.40 to close a strong week across multiple events.
In the team events, Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive continued their dominance, once again claiming the Girls’ and Overall Team titles, with Montgomery Dive Club claiming the Boys’ title. Arrow Dive Club and Stanford Diving took second and third in the Girls’ category, respectively. On the Boys' side, RipFest and Dominion Dive Club tied for the second-place title. In the Team event, RipFest claimed the silver, and Montgomery Dive Club took home the bronze.
With the 2025 Junior Nationals now concluded, Mission Viejo saw the rise of repeat champions, new faces and fierce competition across all levels, signaling a bright future for the next generation of divers.
