USA Diving Announces National Team
Seventeen divers have been named to USA Diving’s National Team. Divers were selected to the National Team based on results at the 2025 USA Diving Winter National Championships. Athletes who placed in the top four in an individual Olympic event earned a spot on the team. Additionally, the winners of each Olympic synchronized event and any synchro teams who were within three percent of the winning team’s score also were selected to the team.

“We are incredibly proud to recognize the first athletes named to the USA Diving National Team under our new structure. These athletes have earned this distinction through their performance at a premier national championship event and have positioned themselves as leaders in our pursuit of Olympic and World success,” said USA Diving High Performance Director Leslie Hasselbach Adams. “This designation reflects sustained excellence at the highest level of domestic competition and our continued focus on preparing athletes to represent the United States with distinction. It also speaks to the dedication of the coaches and daily training environments that support their growth, reinforcing the unified Team USA culture we are building together.”
The National Team begins a transition from the previous High Performance Squad score-based system. While the Junior High Performance Squad will remain in place in 2026, the National Team replaces the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Senior High Performance Squad designations. As part of the transition, athletes who were on the High Performance Squad (Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Senior) in 2025 but have not been named to the National Team will remain prequalified to the USA Diving National Championships and USA Diving Winter National Championships in 2026.
The USA Diving National Championships, which will be held August 5-11 in Morgantown, West Virginia, will mark the next opportunity for athletes to make the National Team.
