USA Diving Seeking Nominations for Athlete on Board of Directors

USA Diving will be holding a special election to fill a vacant athlete representative position on the Board of Directors.

This athlete’s term will run through the end of 2024. This athlete director will also serve as USA Diving’s alternate representative on the USOPC Athletes Advisory Council.

To be eligible to serve in this position, an athlete must have represented the United States at the senior level internationally or competed at a national championship or other meet that was a qualifier for an international meet within the past 10 years.

The position will be elected by eligible athletes.

If you are eligible and interested in running for the Athlete Board Member/AAC Alternate Representative position, please submit the nominee information form by February 6.

Once nominations have closed, a ballot and candidate information will be sent electronically to eligible athletes to vote.

We also have a variety of other opportunities for athletes to participate in governance. Interested athletes are encouraged to respond to this google form. We currently have availability on the finance and Safe Sport committees but other athlete positions become available at various times throughout the year, so please feel free to complete the form if you have interest in serving on any one of our USA Diving committees.
