Jordan Rzepka (Solon, Ohio) placed 13th in the men’s 10-meter semifinal as the World Aquatics Championships wrapped up Sunday in Singapore.

Rzepka finished with 410.70 points, including 85.50 on his final dive – a back 2 ½ somersault with 2 ½ twists. He scored 72 points or higher on three other dives. A third-round miss on a reverse 3 ½ somersault tuck dropped him to 18th place, but he came back strong. His highest scoring dives came in the last two rounds as he moved up to the 13th place, just one spot shy of advancing.

In the final, Australia’s Cassiel Rousseau won gold at 534.80, with Ukraine’s Oleksii Sereda scoring 515.20 for silver. Randal Willars of Mexico finished with 511.95 for bronze.
