Downs and Capobianco to compete in Men’s 3-Meter Prelims

Diving continues into Day 10 of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games with the preliminary round of the Men’s 3-Meter competition. Andrew Capobianco, earned a Silver Medal earlier in the games in the 3-Meter Synchronized event with partner Michael Hixon, is set to compete in his second event of the Games alongside 18-year-old Tyler Downs.
Downs, who is an incoming freshman at Purdue University, won the 2020 Olympic Team Trials- Diving in June earning his spot as the youngest athlete on the squad having turned 18 the day he arrived in Tokyo.
The event will take place at 3pm local time/2am EST. The event will be broadcast live on CNBC and streamed on NBCOlympics.com with replays starting at 12:15pm on NBC, check your local listings for diving times.
