Son of Mandy and David Hixon...Has an older brother, Matthew.
Michael started diving when he was 7 years old...His mom dove at Ohio State and was the diving coach at the University of Massachusetts. She coached Michael until he began his college career. Michael’s dad is the long-time basketball coach at Amherst College.
Michael loves all sports and regularly keeps up with the NFL and NBA.
Michael majored in economic consulting at Indiana University and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Michigan.
During COVID, Michael taught his girlfriend 2016 Canadian Olympic Swimmer Kennedy Goss how to pull ropes so he could continue practicing his flips.
When Michael flies back from Tokyo, he will be relocating to Florida to start his internship.
