Oakley earns Bronze in 3-Meter to bring Final U.S. Medal Count up to Five

Cali, Colombia- Competition at the 2021 Junior Pan American Games concluded yesterday with Joslyn Oakley (Carolina Diving Academy) earning a Bronze Medal in the 3-Meter competition. Oakley, who won silver in the 1-Meter earlier this week, earned a total score of 261 points with her Forward 2½ Somersaults 1 Twist Pike and Back 2 ½ Somersaults Pike both earning high scores of 58.5. Teammate, Emilie Moore (Coral Springs Diving) placed 11th in the competition.
In the Men’s 10-Meter where Carson Tyler (Moss Farms Diving) narrowly missed his third podium of the competition placing fourth. Joshua Hedberg (Indiana International School of Diving) placed sixth in the event.
In all, Team USA earned five total medals in diving, placing them third in medal count for the sport behind Mexico and Cuba.
